I entered the dog world in 1976 showing Old English Sheepdogs and Collies. Since this time my main focus has been Tibetan Terriers and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, (all four colors), winning multiple Best in Shows and breeding many Champions, Grand Champions and Best in Show winners under the "Aryed" prefix.
I also breed Miniature Pinschers under the "Khanrae" prefix. Champions carrying this prefix number in excess of 60 including many All Breed and Specialty Best In Show winners.
A highlight of 2002 was campaigning a Welsh Corgi Pembroke to top Corgi in Australia winning among many Best in Show awards Best Exhibit in Show at the Adelaide Royal show under breed specialist Virginia Lynne from Canada. I have also piloted many Shar Pei to their championship titles winning Best in Shows along the way. I also handled the first Black Smooth Griffon Bruxellois in the Southern Hemisphere to gain a championship title. Many other breeds have been campaigned with success.
2005 saw the introduction of the Pekingese Multi BIS/BISS Tai Yuan When I'm Good "N" Ready (Imp NZ). Zane hit the Australian dog scene winning Best In Show and two Runner Up to Best In Show in his first weekend out! He left Australia as Victoria’s Top Toy Dog after gaining his Grand Champion title! Apart from multiple BIS he also won Best in Group, (Group 1st) at Adelaide Royal, and Reserve Best In Group, (Group 2nd) at Brisbane Royal. He returned to New Zealand to win Best in Show first weekend back and after gaining his Grand Champion title in New Zealand has returned home to me continuing his winning ways with many more Best in Shows.
I am licensed to judge the Toy, Gundog, Hound, Working Dog, Utility and Non Sporting groups at Championship level and the Terrier Group & Best In Show at Open show level. I have judged in all states of Australia and in New Zealand both islands. Specialty appointments include the largest Toy specialty there as well as a Cavalier and King Charles Spaniel specialty and a Gundog specialty show. I have judged many Toy specialties in Australia including a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Championship show, a Miniature Pinscher Championship show and Open Show specialties for King Charles Spaniels, Chihuahuas, Australian Silky Terriers, Chinese Crested, Japanese Chin, Pekingese, Pomeranian, and Griffon Bruxellois.
Overseas judging appointments have taken me to South Africa, Sweden, England, New Zealand. I have had the honor to judge Tibetan Terriers at the Tibetan Breeds World Show in Sweden which was held in conjunction with the World Dog Show in 2008 and I am also the only Australian to award CC’s in Tibetan Terriers in the UK. Future overseas appointments include Turku International Dog Show in Finland in 2012.
